This was in a facebook group and I found it interesting, dunno if Yoko Ono actually said it but I don't doubt it:
"I read on a website today something Yoko Ono said
1. Try to say nothing negative about anybody.
a) for three days
b) for forty-five days

I couldn't do it. I wish I could, I really do. It is pathetic how many of my conversations include complaints about people. Even if I tried, I am constantly surrounded by people who say negative things about others, and sometimes I do tell them to stfu (if it's really rude) but most of the time I just consider it venting, which is kind of necessary. & I am not saying I never start a conversation by complaining about someone, because I do.. it's like a silence filler for me, if I don't know what to say I complain - whether it's about school, people, clothes, anything. I hate the fact that I am like that. Anyway, just interested to see other people's thoughts.

If you go to www. twloha. com you can buy a 'Pick Up The Phone' shirt and all the money goes toward paying the phone bill.
If you don't want a shirt, you can go to www. hopeline. com and donate directly (every little bit helps!) So many people consider suicide, and too many actually go through with it. Thanks to so many volunteers, 1-800-SUICIDE has been a place where people can turn to and it would be a fucking shame to see it ruined by the government.

Everyone go listen to my myspace song. Holy shit, I love Anberlin. Their album comes out September 30th and I am very excited.. even though I never want September to come =(. One of the things I love about them is their lyrics, they're always extremely powerful and can be interpreted in different ways and are just fucking AMAZING. I kind of have a lot to update about but I won't update until I finish reading A Million Little Pieces.
p.s. Anberlin's song is about the homeless, thank you twloha for that tidbit, and posting the lyrics in a blog =)

They are amazing, and their new album is coming out September 30th so you'll probably get to hear some new songs too, wahoo!

I'll keep this short...
Pat, I never go the chance to know you personally. If someone ever mentioned my name around you, you probably would have no idea who I was. But regardless, I am going to miss you. It still all seems unreal. I will never see you or hear your voice in the halls of SMH... or in the gym. You were a great person, and you're missed by so many. You will always be missed. Nobody will ever forget you. So many people love you... you made a huge impact on so many people's lives. It was so weird seeing so many people grieve over someone who always made people laugh. I am never going to forget this past week... it was tough for everyone, especially your family and friends.
Your life was taken away far too quickly. It's not fair, and it's such a tragedy. Nobody thought this could ever happen, but it did. You're in a better place now, looking down on everyone, especially your family I'm sure. I hope they get to see you again someday. I can't even imagine the pain they are feeling right now. I may not know your family, but I know they love you and miss you more and more every second.
I am so lucky to have met you and known you for such a long time. Like I said before, I may not have really known you, but I will always miss you and never forget you. I'll never forget your face. I hope you still have that smile on your face in Heaven. You have touched every person you've ever come in contact with. We miss you <3.
